FANTASY ADVERTISER #32 (incorporating ORACLE #18)
By Paul McCartney and Dez Skinn, July 1970
Cover by Alan Hunter
Frank Dobson moves to Australia to work, and passes on the ‘FA’ baton to his two main advertisers; Paul Paul McCartney and Dez Skinn. After a gap of nine months, this is the first of six huge issues, with thousands of comics for sale. It’s also packed with editorial content, due to the integration of Dez’s ORACLE; which features Steve Moore holding back no punches whilst writing about several Conventions held in ‘69, 70, and 71, Dez Skinn reviewing the latest fanzines, and articles by Chris Lowder, Stan Nicholls, et al.
On his return to the U.K. from Australia, Frank would once again go on to publish his own adzine (Fant EC Advertiser, also at the archive) in 1972.
I’ve put this together from two copies that I had access to, but I suspect from reading the last page, that I’m still a couple of pages away from a definitive version.
